Lesley was born and raised in the South East of England and as a child spent most of her spare time either at the local stables or drawing animals, predominantly horses.  When family commitments allowed more free time she was able to concentrate more on her art and became Professional with a special interest in Arabian horses.

Her work has hung in Christies of St. James in the prestigious Society of Equestrian Artists Exhibitions.  A pastel study of Kazmierek was shown on Channel Four Television to advertise the Exhibition and was subsequently issued as a print.

Two pastels have been donated in the last few years to the Pyramid Society in Kentucky and Lesley was delighted that they raised a good sum for the Society, and that 'A Distant Call' was also picked to be used on the Program Cover.  This year the pastel of  'Feel the Wind Blow' made it on to the short list of the 'Not the Turner Prize' a major art event held by the Associated Newspaper group and was subsequently exhibited in the Mall Galleries.

Work is now in collections in Europe, America, Hong Kong and the Middle East.  Lesley accepts a limited amount of commissions every year.  Please get in touch if you would like to receive information on availability of originals, prints or to be put onto the mailing list.
