Born in Zimbabwe, Africa, where she currently resides, Linda has developed
into a keen accomplished artist and naturalist. From a humble beginning
experimenting with pencil sketches, then progressing to watercolours,
pastel and oils which she applied to flowers, landscapes, wildlife, birds
and portraiture.
Her love for the African bushveld and the harsh beauty that accompanies it,
inspired her to experiment further with all mediums in order to capture
Africa's beauty as she sees it.
Her dedication to art and her love for life and wildlife has resulted in her
producing remarkable paintings, depicting life and wildlife in their natural
environment.
Because of her eye for detail and realism, Linda's work has been highly
sought after by private collectors in the United States, Europe, Australia,
United Kingdom, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
She has held numerous sole exhibitions as well as exhibiting annually on
several of the Safari Club International Hunter's Conventions in the USA.
Other international exhibitions she has participated in are, Christie's
South Kensington Wildlife Auction in the UK, Elephant Rose Foundation in
Holland, Zimbabwe/Australia Cultural Exchange in Australia.
