Trained at the Ealing College of Art, London, England, and a direct descendant of
the Pre-Raphaelite artist Holman Hunt, Josephine Anne Smith has received international acclaim
for the fine detail in her paintings and the sympathetic interpretation of their subject matter
which stems from her love of animals and birds, and all living things.
Published by leading publishers in Australia and worldwide, her works have included many
wildlife prints, calendars and greetings cards.
Known for the accuracy of her interpretations and their authentic settings, her works may
be found in many public and private collections throughout the world.
She has had many successful exhibitions throughout Australia, England and the United States
of America, and recently she was the featured artist at a major wildlife exhibition held
in California, U.S.A.
